The second half of life..

Clouds

Last day of term has finally arrived :)

We finished the term with our traditional House Song competition which is an incredible amount of noise, cheering, singing and fun then followed it with our 'Foodies' afternoon - lots of different types of food for sale in the quad, much of it made by our own Kiwi and International students but also some local vendors who come in and add to the festivities.

There was much colour and frivolity to photograph today, but in the end this amazing cloud formation won out as my blip. Many people were gazing skyward and postulating about what was going on up in the atmosphere to create this. I have no answer - all I know is that they were very unusual and very stunning.

Easy blip choice.

After all the fun and games of the day were done I set off over to Blenheim where our swim team is competing in the South Island Secondary Schools event. Hopefully we'll pull in some good results.

Brought the van over and stayed at Rarangi - can't say much about it as it was pitch black and raining when I arrived after the end of the first swim session tonight :( Nice to be out in the van again though, despite the weather.
