It's All About Him

It was an early start this morning to get from Oban to Loch Lomond to return the campervan hire. A short walk at Balloch Country Park in the blazing sun, then The Woodhouse Cafe & Farm Shop for a nice brunch before heading home.

For a few months we've been considering getting a campervan in the coming year, not too big, but not too small. While we were sure Mrs C and I could cope, we weren't sure about Arlo, so this was a 3 night trip to test the waters. 

Once we decided on Mull, the weather forecast suggested rain throughout, but it was sun and blue skies.. and some summer! Arlo surprised us by settling at campsites, but he became reluctant to get in the van after the first ferry, and also didn't like the door clunking and I was having to carry him into it. But we kept at it, closed the door quietly, and today was happy to get in himeself again, phew. Anyway, weather was fab, Mull/Iona were fabber (need to return) and Arlo was fabbest, this looks promising :-)
