Dianthus

An unusual Saturday at home as our lodge visitors were staying over the weekend so we had no cleaning to do.

We did some jobs around the house. I finished off tidying a bookshelf, a job I began yesterday. I needed to get rid of a lot of DVDs. Life has changed and we no longer have the same need for that sort of entertainment but I kept some favourites..... and the duplicates.......yes, I really do need 3 copies of Mama Mia...... and 3 of Love Actually, but I threw away the video. We no longer have a video player.

In the afternoon we sat outside, drinking sherry with a newly purchased pot of dianthus on the table in front of us.
