Field of borage

I've noticed several blue-purple fields in the distance and wondered what they were - not vivid enough for linseed.

Today I came up close to a field and discovered it was borage. Apparently borage is becoming a popular crop - its prized oil is used in food supplements, cosmetics and pharmaceuticals.
