Budding

The Japanese anemones are slowly starting to bloom. This late afternoon they were backlit by the low sun making them stand out with a very colourful bokeh background ( I'll post another shot in the extras to show what the background actually was :-) )

This coming week Thursday is the first day of the new month, can't believe we'll be in August already, we're really still waiting for summer to actually  and really start !
