Packwood House

Today B and I went to visit Packwood House, a National Trust house and gardens. It has been hot and sunny today. We went around the house and there was a lot of wood panelling and beams and wooden doors. Tapestries on the walls. It seemed to be a lot of smaller rooms with corridors, a bit like a rabbit warren! We liked the house, it seemed more cosy than some other NT properties we have visited. Then we went around the gardens and thought they were very colourful and interesting. Then a little walk by the lake there. Of course we also went to the cafe. We had scones with jam and cream. Very yummy. Home now, I have walked the dogs and they are both snoozing.
