Dads Army

Attended the Old Buckenham Air Show today.  Plenty of flying from old and new  aircraft (F35 Lightning II and the Typhoon).

 Away from the flying, this lot stole the show.  They are a group of "re-enactors" who represent the fictional characters from the 70's TV series "Dads Army", a comedy classic of its time. They sort of marched along the flight  line with the original (so we were told) of Mr Jones' van.  Once at the far end of the line they stood about bit simulating trying to shoot down a mocked up enemy aircraft. They obviously enjoyed it and got a generous round of applause from the large crowd.

The F35 was good but once again the Typhoon stole the show.
