Scottish Lizard

Walking up the track from our house so Mel could pick some wild raspberries for a Clover Club cocktail, after a day working on a number of things from building a new benchtop router table to, once again, not getting the tractor fixed... I was on a bug hunt, and almost stumbled straight past this Common Lizard, hanging out in the dappled sunshine, on a fencepost.

Seemed more intrigued by me than anything else. I kept my distance, shot a few photos, and just watched back for the most part as I sat down in the middle of the road. Figured we should have these here, so it's nice to have confirmation.
