The water slide

The vicar took his first service this morning. We were able to ring eight bells and at the end of the service we fired the bells to make as much celebratory noise as possible. Firing refers to all the bells ringing together to make an enormous clash. We had aperos afterwards. After lunch I went to collect my racket which has been restrung. The swimming pool was understandably very busy. There was no way I would play with the racket this afternoon in over thirty degrees of heat. I shall give it a try at 8 am tomorrow.
