Tree Marks

A short walk through Millmoor wood. I think it becomes more difficult to take interesting tree photos as the summer moves on and it was midday when I was walking. Maybe extra difficult on a walk I’ve done so many times before through many different seasons.  As I walked it was some freshly gouged marks on a tree trunk that I noticed, so that became my theme for the day. (Yesterday it was shadows on the road.)

Extra: Breakfast

Not feeling quite as good this morning as I did yesterday - wobbly legs!  So I cut my walk short.  I was tired when I arrived home, but so far I haven’t sfs,t the need to nap. I haven’t had anything to eat since breakfast, so maybe I’ll get sleepy if I eat something.  It seems to happen.
