Eyed Hawk Moth, caterpillar

Evidently very similar to Lime Hawk Moth. I suspected this species as there are 3 large Lime trees close by. But the eyed Hawk Moth likes apple leaves, and this caterpillar was close to my Apple Tree. I nearly walked on it, looking like a rolled up leaf, 5cms long. It's disappeared now probably looking for a suitable pupating location.
