Stories of Stone

A lovely evening in the garden finishing off this brilliant book. Each chapter is a mix of myths, legends, and stories of scientific discovery, origins and the lives of those that gave their name or became known for the different stones. Such a delight to dip in and out of this one, and one I will put back to read again.
