Colour Co-ordination

I'm in Maleny now for a few days, 90 minutes drive north of Brisbane - and was driving through fog this morning. It felt rather British!

It was pleasant to stroll around the town, re-acquainting myself with the place. Although it's winter here (no, not like a British winter) there are some glorious flowers that wait for this time of year. I was stopped in my tracks by this lovely Bromeliad Aechmea Apocalyptica, a close relative to the pineapple. What a great colour combination!
