Through the glass
I’ve mentioned quite often that, provided I have the time, I walk on the riverside, and then the harbourside path, to get to the city centre. This morning I went on the same route, but turned left to cross a bridge to take me to the station. Around Temple Meads is a zone of office blocks, most of which are empty, or partly empty. It’s so frustrating as what we need is housing - and dwellings near the station would be really popular. Outside one of the offices is a flower bed, which is then protected by a wall of glass. So this is a blip of what’s in front of me, but also what’s behind me, especially the sky. I really like red hot pokers. I was going to the station to pick up tickets for various journeys planned over the summer. The rest of the day spent listening to the Olympics and some mild gardening
