Saturday: Family Wedding

We had the first family wedding in years today with my cousin, P, marrying his fiancée, K.  It was a very full day with lots of lovely moments.  

We were all bussed from the Spanish City in Whitley Bay, to Whalton, a drive of about 35 mins.  Contrast to forecasts, apart from a very slight shower earlier in the day, the weather held beautifully.

Lots of good food, nice speeches and family time.  Having been picked up just after 10.00am we were all more than ready to head home when the reception ended at 11.15pm.  There will be some sore heads tomorrow.
