National Theatre…
… trip today to see The Grapes of Wrath by John Steinbeck. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Grapes_of_Wrath
It was wonderful. A very black story well told. At times you could hear a pin drop in the theatre. Now I must read the book again. It was one of my favourite lockdown reads.
Afterwords we browsed the bookstall and I found A J Cronin’s The Citadel. Another classic that I have yet to read.
It’s been a wonderful day. Seems ages that We3 last met. We missed Valerie. Nearly a year since our holiday in Dorchester which became the last one. Good and happy memories.
The boys and Co have also been together today and we’ve received great photos of a happy cousins day. So, lots of gratefuls this evening.
