Frustrating and long drive down the M1 this morning (mostly in traffic jams, roadworks and temporary restrictions). A quick turnaround and then out to meet my Mum.

Tea/coffee and carrot cake. Shopping. Then a fabulous meal. We travelled together for the first part of the journey home. A lovely time and a blip from the tube platform. As always, I realise how lucky I am.
