Saturday: “Love in a Mist”

A few drops of rain when we got up this morning but it soon blew over, wind picked up and we had a breezy day.

My first job after breakfast was to clean the assorted bird saucers and put clean water out for them. I potted on 3 courgette plants but not holding much hope of eating any courgette soon :-((

Our daughter and MrD walked down the marsh trail on the other side of the island and had seen all sorts of interesting bird life. This afternoon they started pruning the overgrown shrubs along the wall near the garage.

Watched a few events in the Olympics and saw the Bullfinch this afternoon.
