Stuff and Nonsense

Rothschild’s Moth

I know you’ve all missed my blips from the butterfly house this week so here is another new arrival - I think it’s some sort of Rothschild’s Moth. Not as big as the Atlas moths we had a while back, but still quite big.
It was a lovely morning, even if it was a bit cool for the butterflies to be flying. There were so many lovely visitors - children, parents, grandparents.
I spent about 25 minutes taking a lovely 8-year old lad around whilst his grandad stayed outside with their dog. He was full of questions and we went round 5 times, just in case we’d missed something!!!

Husband had made us lunch and then Mum and I settled down to watch the Olympics after missing out on our first medal in the diving this morning.
Anna Henderson got a fabulous Silver medal in the Women’s cycling time trial - well done Anna.

Sorry for still being way behind with commenting. I’ll try and catch up again before the weekend, when we are away with the family again :)
