Not a dandelion!

I noticed this very large puffball seed head on my way back from the supermarket shopping this afternoon, and have tried to identify it. It's much larger than a dandelion seed head, and growing tall on a grasslike stem....bottom left. The only possibility is a salsify plant? Entering it into to wildflower challenge, just out of interest. Cloudy and breezy today, but the coming week is forecast as hot!...I'll take it as is comes.
