Big Yellow Brush

It’s Saturday again, and I have a relatively peaceful day ahead. Most of the crew are out and about today. V has an end-of-year work party that starts mid-afternoon and will extend well into the night, I expect. Teachers can drink! The boys have various things planned, but they are all heading to Canterbury to shop for holiday clothes—the big family Corfu trip is not far off now. I did a bit of gardening this morning, keeping on top of the pruning and shepherding unruly climbers. I noticed this brush on the garden furniture, all very monochromatic apart from the splash of vivid yellow… quite a nice little composition.
