School of Geology

The School of Geology at Sydney Uni seems to attract stuff. The tables and chairs used to be outdoor seating for Holme and Away, the cafe opposite. Three pieces of broken finials from the Quad have become sculptures, one with 1921 carved into it.

I’d walked over to Forest Lodge to factcheck if there were speed humps on the 470 bus route along Derwent St and Catherine St. In hindsight I could have seen the slightly raised pedestrian crossing and the 25km/h speed hump on Google street view.

A supplementary walk to the Fiji Market for chana dal. Winter has returned.

Thanks for hosting Marlieske.
