Clematis

...as seen in winter, I rather like the droopy 'hairdoo'.  The greenish background is one of our water tanks.

Well that was epic, I'm talking about the opening ceromony of the Olympics.  I watched it from start to finish, and it pretty much took care of the morning.  Quite the spectacle, liking the bits of theatre and dancing mostly.  I did enjoyed Celine Dion, not so fussed with Lady Gaga though (but then I'm an oldie).  And what about the dancing/acrobats on the scaffolding of the Notre Dame and the others dangling and swaying on the tall poles....amazing.  I could go on, but I won't....there was so much to love.
Apparently though, the Olympic flag went up the pole upside down, oops!
Gardening this afternoon  - like cutting back the lavenders on the bank continues.....gosh it got hot 19 deg.
