At long last

I have been out several times this year in various locations seeking and failing to get near some puffins for a decent picture. Today I was privileged to spend some time with a couple of friendly puffins who seemed more curious than nervous by my antics which must have seemed bizarre to them. I spotted a good few on cliffs nearby but I would have required a very long lens to photograph, but these guys were within feet.were joined by a pair later one of whom was returning with sand eels. Fascinating creatures and again managed to lose sense of time as I lay in the grass in this incredible location with these beautiful birds.
