Patrick Geddes Garden
I am rarely on foot in this area nowadays but passed on the way to the bus and stopped to admire these striking pink lilies and catch me a blip for Flower Friday. Thanks to BikerBear for hosting.
Also known as West Port Garden it was instigated by Patrick Geddes in 1909 for children of slum housing to experience nature, green space and gardening. It is open on Sunday afternoons, weather permitting, from 2pm to 4pm.
