A walk along the beach

A fine warm day so after lunch we took a walk along the beach.The tide was right out so plenty of firm sand to walk on.

Sailing, kite flying, paddling, hole digging and all watched over by the lifeguards.

Reaching the harbour sands we made a left turn and headed up into the village for an ice cream which we enjoyed while walking back home.

Watching the Opening Ceremony of the Olympics ...... I expect to watch many, many hours of sport over the coming couple of weeks.
