It is a lovely sunny, windy day with light rain showers. 19c indoors. We had washing on the line and decided to bring it in before the next shower.

The children in the Close are primary school age and play football in the evening and cycle about together but are generally good natured and polite.

Paul is in his Music room playing his guitar and looking at houses for sale online. He does that avidly on Fridays because new property is advertised. We don't have immediate intention to move, but we look at what is available.

Earlier I walked to the canal and spent some time loving the dear Tabby cat with ginger stripe, who appeared suddenly from the long grass. I took a few photos but it was breezy.

No narrowboats were moored and no sign of any wildlife. The swans must have gone further along the canal.

There were a few yellow waterlilies in bud.
