Vista

Rounding the path parallel to Barclay Road, the vista opens up onto the meadow. In the winter, this is the launching place of many a ice run on a toboggan. But in the summer, standing in the cool of the beech wood, the view opens up onto the sun-drenched meadow which, in one week's time, will be heaving with people preparing for the Picnic in the Park.
