The Way Home

Heading back after our morning stint at Salvos my daughter drew my attention to this old timer. Turned out to be my only shot of the day since I exhausted myself with a long bike ride after that.

What a glorious day - blue skies, still and a balmy 16.

Just realised this has extra significance to me and my husband - when we were living in Berlin (a quarter century ago) we had a friend who had a number of highly repetitive conversational loops. One of them was sparked every time he saw a Citroen and began “Do you have Citroens in Australia”. We took to saying no (not that we were aware of seeing or not seeing them, and not that it did anything to dodge the conversational wormhole)
