Karaoke
After the late night there was no lie in. Down at the station for a 7am drop off. Then off to the Gyle as one of my hearing aids has packed in. A couple of shops, then paperwork and washing the floors and tidying up.
A lunchtime snooze restored my energies ready for ironing while catching up on Sewing Bee and the arrival of our daughter and grandson this evening
He is now approaching 17 months and is full of energy running around and throwing balls. He had a good sleep on the drive up and woke just as he arrived after 9. Food with lots of pointing and some word like sounds then lots - and lots - of activity for an hour or so before trying to get him settled. 90 minutes later after a false start he fell asleep.
At that point our daughter started (quietly) testing the karaoke system for the hen do weekend she is about to go on. This borrowed loudspeaker worked well and had lots of flashing lights. I did try it out but, a bit like my golf, it is not something I will do in public again!
