Waddling in the rain

Three mama ducks and one drake brought up 2 more baby ducks several days ag. We’ve been holding out breath but they are still here and growing like little weeds!
Yesterday, a lone mama duck and drake brought up 6 more littles! They are still here today! I think the mamas are smarter now. They keep them hidden, probably on the island , most of the time instead of swimming all the time.
The 4 older ones in the pen are about ready to turn loose.!
J ran some errands with a friend early and vacuumed and steam mopped while he was gone. We hen took Js brother to lunch.
Spent the afternoon chilling.
