Huddled

Our neighbours had their awnings taken down recently; we felt really sorry for the jackdaws, as they love to perch on them, huddling under the eaves, when it's raining.  And then a few days later, the awnings were back, having been cleaned.  Lucky jackdaws :)

Off sick again today - but feeling a little bit better, and determined to go back to work tomorrow, having had to postpone the appraisals for both of my direct reports.  This evening we went over to our neighbours' for a drink (and some delicious cake, baked by Robert).  Such a lovely evening, and made me feel even better :)
