Birthday!

Back blipping

A very nice birthday. Marking and working in the morning and we called it a day at 2pm. We had a copa de cava (tastes even better on a school day) and a wee nibble for lunch. A siesta in the afternoon and then a few pressies and dinner in Popeye’s. I’m looking forward to reading the Kate Atkinson series, which was one of my pressies from Bb. It was recommended on here by blippers HarlingDarling and Keibr and I’m hopeful that both Bb and I will both enjoy them. Woohoo, holiday books! Not long now.

Birthday cards, sadly, seem to be becoming a thing of the past, so it was lovely to still get one from Bb and busboy (who had slipped a wee banknote inside). Thank you both!
