Family away

We got sent these two pictures today - so I put them together to show where the family is at the moment. The three girls are with their Mum on the Greek island of Kefalonia. They seem to be having a great time by the sea in the sunshine. So nice to see them spending time with each other. At home they live such busy lives with work, school, sporting activities and they all have their own social circles too. So much coming and going and hardly any time to be together. Away from all that they can relax and  just enjoy being a family. 

In total contrast, the other two are at Latitude Music Festival in Suffolk. They have one of these tents (in the posh bit!) for four nights - they look rather good. And, as they are both deeply into music of all kinds, they are going to have a wonderful time. 

Neither of these options would I choose, but they are perfect for them. We will stay quietly at home. Except tomorrow I am off to Kendal to get my eye seen to - hopefully the blurring will just disappear - I can't wait.
