Viola!

I’ve nurtured these viola flowers from seed. They have been difficult to grow and some rotted. So it feels quite an achievement to have some come into flower. I’ve put them on the patio so we can see them from the kitchen.

A very wet day so I’ve had a few soggy dog walks and a wet walk to get some beetroots from the allotment.

Grateful:
- To meet several dog walker friends to chat with in the meadow, despite the rain.
- To have maple syrup with my porridge this morning!
- To have time inside researching a possible garden project.
