On guard!

More sorting of stuff this morning then a lovely wander this afternoon :-)

We were lucky with our sightings today ..... we saw Kestrel .... Buzzard & also a Red Kite! None of them stayed around for a photo but at least we got to see them :-)

We also saw this adult Green Woodpecker with a juvenile :-)

We often hear them 'laughing' at us but rarely see them, so it was a real treat! They were a fair distance away so the image is rather cropped but chuffed to get it all the same :-)

We timed our walk perfectly as within 2 minutes of getting home it started to rain!

My eldest Granddaughter is 21 today ..... where has the time gone! My Big Sis also has a birthday today .... think she's 21(again)!
