Monument dog.

We were in town in the morning to do a few things. I kept the dog and my wife went in to a couple of shops. Several American tourists stopped to speak to the dog. As did an Irish family, and a tour guide who having a break outside Madras College. She was hosting a touring choir from North Carolina. To cut a long story short my wife went to their concert in the evening and I walked the dog again; it had rained heavily in the afternoon hence the puddles at the Martyrs Monument. We walked around the emerging tented village for a forthcoming championship and watched golfers at the 18th hole. Some more Americans spoke to the dog outside the Dunvegan, they were buzzing to be here on holiday. Later in the evening, on our way home, we got caught in a prolonged deluge, the roads were flooded and the drains couldn’t cope. It was bad where we have our other place, some properties nearby flooded.
