The amazing and beautiful….

Castle Sinclair, rising straight from the ocean on a glorious, very hot day. There weee flowers everywhere, Fulmars still nesting and Cormorants and Black Guillemots on the cliffs. Later in the day, from another beach I walked  from the estuary and found myself in the Arctic Tern nesting colony. They had almost finished nesting, but still did not like this heron’s presence! He didn’t enjoy their onslaught either!
