Winner winner

Tech Meetup this evening, late cause of work so missed the early networking chats and pizza but arrived in enough time to catch the start of the talks at least.

At the end there was a “draw”, I knew not what for but they didn’t stop me quickly entering my name, only for it to then be first out a minute later. Result! Free ticket to a tech conference in London later in the year.

This is the organisers and pals of mine Nick and Adrian in an “oi, you jammy git!” moment towards me.

Now to speak to mrs p and then my work boss about “yet another week away”. It’s pretty much a week away each month until December.
