Poolish

Normal service is slowly being resumed. I was up early (early for me) to enjoy a cracking morning and get in a few holes of golf. Lost of course but was more than happy to be out on the course. Swung past sis on the way home for a coffee and catch-up on all things family, hadn’t seen her in ages. Then home for a rest!
Had planned to go to the library later but fell asleep in the chair. Instead, I thought I’d check how much oomph my sourdough starter still has so mixed up a poolish to sit overnight. This is it bubbling away after a few hours, not as much action as I’d hoped for. Seems apt.
