Vernon, France

My husband, younger daughter and I are on a much anticipated trip to Normandy, the highlight of which will be a visit to Monet's house and garden in Giverny.
This dinner time view is of the river Seine in the pretty town of Vernon, 80 km west of Paris (we are avoiding the crowds that have arrived for the Olympics) 
It is good to be back in our beloved France
