NZ Flaxes …..

….. ….. ….. against Lake Hayes & the Remarkable Mountains.
What a day! The lake was mirror calm, and it was warm. We actually had a warm day; 14°C. A friend & I walked along the north side of the lake and we, as well as everyone else out walking, had to strip off. Wonderful!
I hear that there’s snow forecast now. That figures.

I used to walk regularly with this friend J, until she had a fall and injured her knee badly. But today we were out there again together. Wonderful!

I’ve been doing the Wilderness Magazine Walk1200 challenge, and my Progress Tracker shows 1200kms today, after 6 months 5 days. I’m stoked!

It’s been quite a day. My Physio is delighted with the strength returning to my wrist - and so am I. There’s a way to go yet but this improvement is really encouraging.
