Under 9's cricket festival

We went to Eastleigh CC for an under 9s girls festival today.  It wasn't as well attended as they had hoped but everyone had a really good time.  They played lots of short matches from 10-3 and did training drills in-between. Us parents sat and chatted and enjoyed the sunshine - a lovely way to spend 5 hours!  The girls team came second and they got a medal!  (It was 2nd out of 3 teams, but they were chuffed to bits with their medal).
