Old Comber Whiskey

Old Comber Whiskey: an Irish whiskey distilled in Comber, County Down, Northern Ireland. The distillery was established in 1825 and ceased distilling in 1956. Some reserve bottles still come up in auction from time to time.

Comber apart from its association with whiskey, was the home town of the designer of the Titanic, Thomas Andrew, and also the second prime minister of Northern Ireland John Miller Andrews. Both from the same family, and of course Andrew's Mill which dominates the town.
