Carey’s Secret Garden

Today I went with two friends to Carey’s secret garden near Wareham. The walled garden had been abandoned for over 40 years and is now being regenerated and has about eight different zones. You have to book online and they then send you instructions about how to get there…however it is on Google Maps! This is a view of a sculpture in the centre of the rose garden area. It is a work in progress but in a few years I’m sure it will be flourishing. They also run various courses there and have had ospreys nesting in the trees in the woods nearby and had a camera on them and this was screened in one of the barns. 
We then went to an old farm which has a barn restaurant and garden centre. A nice day out.

Going out to a favourite ‘crab’ restaurant with husbands for supper soon.
