C-day Has Arrived

C-day (not D-day) has arrived. Cement Day. In our Summer-long construction project, curbs and gutters are ready to be poured. They did 7-8 houses across the street today, and we are on the docket for tomorrow morning, which means that we won't be using our driveway for 10-14 days while the concrete cures. 

It was interesting to watch. The mix must be really heavy, because it forms into the curb shape really quickly and doesn't seem to want to run.

Lisa's workplace is right around the corner, so we will probably park there until we can possibly park on the street.
