Ripening corn

Intended to take some photos of damselflies tonight, but the clegs were out in force and I decided that discretion was the better part of valour and bid a hasty retreat. Found a field of corn and chose that instead, mainy because there was a breeze there and it kept the pests at bay. Almost wore out the focusing mechaninsm on the lens trying to get it to settle on one stalk of corn.
