Hot hot hot

Gosh it was sooooo hot today.

Lucky the 12' pool was a nice temperature. I spent a good couple of hours in there.

And then, a little later I set up the scope for some solar observations. I did have a look at the moon, but was disappointed with the images....too small a crescent, too bright the sun.

AR 1791 is now the sun spot of focus - there are some mighty interesting faculae, jsut showing on my image. And I have got some nice granulation.
