Of course this is what I like best about Bedford's River Festival, and this year I was intrigued enough to do a little research. The kit involved is a Flyboard Pro, invented by Franky Zapata and here is a video of the inventor putting it through its paces. I have to tell you that the demonstration in Bedford doesn't come close to the antics in the video, but it's still pretty thrilling and very difficult to photograph.
