Summer reading challenge

Busy day walking the dog and meeting the builder at home. He has started painting all the new plaster in white and said I needed to chose a colour for the living room! Some slightly off white pinkish shade for warmth! Walked to devils point and did some ball throwing for Flo! This afternoon I had my first shift in the library registering children for the Summer Reading Challenge, reading six books and getting rewarded for it. They get the booklet into which hey put the stickers that they get for having read 2, 4 or 6 book! After four books they get some origami paper and after six books a medal! Plus when they go back to school a certificate is awarded to them by library staff!

When I got back Flo saw me walking up the road and started barking excitedly! She took me for a walk to Sharon’s house, one of Dave’s fellow teachers but they are in France with Dave and Julia, Flo’s owners!
